As the birthplace of coffee itself, Ethiopia produces some of the most extraordinary beans in the world — and our Ethiopia Natural, sourced from smallholder farmers deep in the celebrated Sidama Zone, is among the finest. Grown at 1,700–1,900 meters in the region's rare and nutrient-rich Nitisol soils, the indigenous heirloom cultivars that thrive here are found nowhere else on earth, carrying centuries of genetic complexity that no modern variety can replicate. Each cherry is sorted by hand with meticulous care and dried naturally on raised beds — a full natural process that allows the fruit to slowly impart its sweetness directly into the bean, unlocking a depth of flavor that is as captivating as it is unique. Roasted to a delicate medium-light to honor every nuance the Sidama farmers have worked so hard to cultivate, expect a luminous, fruit-forward cup with creamy notes of milk chocolate, vibrant bursts of ripe fruit, and a smooth, lingering finish of golden caramel.
